The Human Library
The Human Library – November 3 and 4, 2022
The Archivists, the student club building a reading community and belonging in the USIC, is hosting their second Human Library event! Please join us November 3rd and 4th during Flex, 3rd and 4th periods in the USIC.
The purpose of the Human Library is to foster conversations that help our community question and challenge our own biases and privileges and build empathy and understanding across differences. Members of our faculty and staff have volunteered to be "books" in our Human Library to share stories of how some aspect of their identity defies stereotypes.
You will have the opportunity to sign up for half-hour conversations over two days to hear from a range of perspectives. Hear stories and share your own experiences!
Sign-ups in advance of the event will be given priority as space is limited to 10 people/session.
Read a description of each Human Library book’s story here: Human Library Book Blurbs.
