- USIC Hours: Mon - Fri, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Library Cards:
Students use their TAS ID cards or ID numbers to check out books. - Lending Policy:
Ten items at one time. The lending period is now extended to 30 days for all books, print and digital. Materials may be renewed unless requested by another patron. - Online Renewal & Tracking:
Students may view their personal accounts online at any time, including textbooks, by signing into Destiny and clicking on My Info. Books (not overdue) may be renewed or reserved online in Destiny. - Overdue Notices:
Overdue notices are sent each week via TAS email accounts. Please ensure that emails are not blocked and are accepted to the email inbox. - Overdue Fines:
There are no fines on overdue materials. Please track and renew or return materials that have reached their due date. - Lost materials:
If an item is lost the student pays the cost of the item and a replacement fee. Lost items are cleared when a cashier’s receipt is received by the library. - Reference Books & Textbooks:
Reference and library copies of textbooks are available for student use in the library. - Silent Reading Room & Study Rooms:
Students may reserve a study room and desks in the silent reading room are first come first serve. - K-12 Mandarin and LS/MS Libraries
Upper school students may use the Chinese Library as their own. Upper school students are considered guests in the lower and middles school libraries and may check out materials, but not use either of those libraries as a gathering or study space. - Expectations:
The USIC area are consistent with the school rules for classrooms. Phones usage permitted when it is not distracting to other students.
USIC POLICIES: PARENTS, ALUMNI, OTHER PATRONS
Parents, alumni, and other select community members have access to the print collection in all libraries. Check with divisional libraries for details.
